Working pattern - 37.5 Hours The NHS hospital we are recruiting for in Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is one of the largest NHS Trusts in the country with a turnover of over £400 million and around 7,000 staff providing high quality services from Hospitals in Coventry and Rugby. The Trust is developing an international reputation as a centre of excellence in teaching and research and has ambitious plans for the future. An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre, enthusiastic and well-motivated Security Manager. • You will act as a professional lead through the provision of a proactive and strategic security service which shall also encompass providing education, training, advice, support and assistance to all areas of the Trust on matters relating to security management. • You will be the Trust’s main point of contact with the NHS Counter Fraud Security Management Service and PFI security providers for matters relating to security management and will investigate report, resolve and monitor security incidents. • You will also manage and provide up to date advice on security equipment, as well as to support on the performance management and procurement of security and car parking services that are commissioned by the Trust. Educated to degree level (or equivalent), you will ideally hold membership of the Security Managers Association and will have worked within a large service organisation, with experience of successfully managing security services and designated projects. NHS accreditation as a Local Security Management Specialist is essential but accredited training will be provided if the candidate is suitable and the qualification has not already been obtained.
