To support these objectives we are seeking a temporary Community Cohesion Officer on a one-year appointment within the Community Team. Our ideal candidate will have a set of skills such as team working, communication, project management and have a ‘can do’ attitude. You will build voluntary and community capacity in Chesham assisting the County and District to reduce the demand on services by older people by promoting volunteering, and linking with voluntary organisations. You will also work with specific ethnic communities to identify their needs and support individuals to access mainstream services, improve community wellbeing and challenge unacceptable behaviours.
